Catch closes seed round

The Cologne-based start-up was able to convince the Techvision Fund and NRW.Bank of its highly automated recruiting solution.
The HR start-up Catch has raised a seven-figure sum. The seed round was led by Techvision Fund, with further capital coming from NRW.Bank and business angel Christian Greb, co-founder of Precire.
Catch, founded in 2020 by Marco Verhoeven and Justin Bous, offers software designed to help small and medium-sized companies in particular find new employees more quickly and efficiently. To do this, Catch Talents posts the job ad in several hundred connected job portals, but also analyzes social networks, for example, to identify and contact employees who are willing to change jobs. In addition, the tool analyzes the personality of candidates and checks whether this fits the company's requirements.
"Catch Talents not only reaches more applicants, but also more suitable candidates and is up to ten times more efficient than conventional HR solutions," says co-founder Bous. So far, the startup says it has won more than 400 companies as customers and filled thousands of positions.
