Coaching app Humanoo raises US$10 million

So far, the start-up has around 300 B2B customers. With the money from the Series B, Humanoo is now planning to expand.

The Swiss insurance companies SwissHealth Ventures, the investment arm of the CSS insurance group, Helsana Health Inventures, Sanitas and the Zurich VC Verve Ventures, as well as existing investors, are putting ten million US dollars into the Berlin start-up Humanoo. The start-up sells an app that allows companies to offer their employees coaching for better physical and mental health. So far, Humanoo says it has 300 B2B customers, including UPS, Coca-Cola and Axel Springer, among others.

"Work models are changing, and a decentralized, hybrid model will be the predominant form in the future" says Maximilien Notter, co-CEO of Humanoo. "This increases the importance of health interventions that ensure employee health engagement at work and at home." The startup is trying to fill that gap. Last year, the Berlin-based company bought French competitor WePulse. Otherwise, Humanoo has so far been primarily active in the DACH region.

So far, Humanoo employs 70 people at its locations in Berlin and Paris. The money from the Series-B will now be used to expand the team. The start-up has also announced further expansion. To which countries exactly, is not yet announced.
