Crowdfox takes five million euros from capital round

Only former shareholders were involved. The company wants to use the money to expand more.
The Cologne-based start-up Crowdfox wants to grow further and has received over five million euros in a capital round for this purpose. With the registration of the capital increase in the commercial register, this has now already been completed. Among the backers were only existing investors. Which exactly, the company did not disclose. In the past, for example, the listed office mail order company Takkt or the price comparison service Idealo had invested in Crowdfox.
With the capital, the company wants to push its expansion. This should also be made possible by the fact that the company cooperates with industry giants from the DAX. Among them, for example, is the Ludwigshafen-based chemical company BASF. "In addition to the consistent further development of our product, we are focusing on expanding our customer portfolio with major global customers," explains CEO Dirk Schäfer.
Crowdfox is an AI purchasing and comparison platform for corporations and large enterprises. The company develops software solutions for purchasing optimization. The company explains that it would thus offer its customers increased process efficiency as well as more transparency in terms of price, availability, delivery time and sustainability.
