Easy-Tutor raises new money

The startup was in high demand during the Corona pandemic, doubling its headcount in 2020 alone. Now Easy Tutor was able to collect a seven-figure funding sum.
Munich-based edtech Easy-Tutor was able to raise a seven-figure funding amount. The round was led by Bayern Kapital, the investment arm of the Free State of Bavaria. In addition, various existing investors are still involved, who were also involved in a financing round in early 2020.
"Thanks to the renewed support of industry-experienced investors, we can further expand our team, differentiate the Easy-Tutor offering even more and further optimize the platform," says CEO Massimo Cancellara. The start-up helps find tutoring for students online.
The edtech doubled the number of employees to 30 last year, and now more than 4,000 students use the platform to find tutoring in 20 offered subjects among the 700 possible tutors. But companies are also signing cooperation agreements with Easy-Tutor to offer their employees' children simplified access to tutoring.
