The QuickSpeech app is designed to help employees learn specialist knowledge in a fun way. The start-up behind it has now raised 500,000 euros.

Knowledge via app, tailored to the respective specialist area of the company: this is what the QuickSpeech learning app offers. Every day, employees are given 60 seconds to learn in a playful way and thus improve their skills in a playful way. The company behind it has now raised half a million euros.

The round was led by the construction group Porr, with business angel Nathalie Karré also participating. The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) was also involved. Porr is also a customer of QuickSpeech. CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss says: "With the QuickSpeech learning application, we are optimizing and automating existing processes and maximizing our construction site management".

The start-up comes from Riederburg in Lower Austria and was founded in 2018. So far, it has acquired 20 customers, including Hornbach and the Austrian Ministry of Education.
