Half a million for QuickSpeech

The QuickSpeech app is designed to help employees learn specialist knowledge in a playful way. The start-up behind it has now raised 500,000 euros.

Knowledge via app, adapted to the respective specialist area of the company: this is what the learning app QuickSpeech offers. Every day, the employees are supposed to learn 60 seconds playfully and thus, so to speak, playfully become better. Now the company behind it was able to collect half a million euros.

The round was led by construction group Porr, with business angel Nathalie Karré also taking part. In addition, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) was involved. Porr is also a customer of QuickSpeech. CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss says: "With the QuickSpeech learning application, we optimize and automate existing processes and maximize our construction site management."

The start-up comes from Riederburg in Lower Austria and was founded in 2018. So far, it has won 20 customers, including Hornbach and the Austrian Ministry of Education.
