Chief Financial Officer Jan Kemper leaves N26

The experienced manager and founder wants to devote himself to his own companies, his professorship and his supervisory board activities in the future.
Chief Financial Officer and temporary Head of Operations Jan Kemper will leave N26 at the end of January. Managing Director and co-founder Maximilian Tayenthal is already taking over the position of Chief Operating Officer. On the other hand, who will take over the post of Chief Financial Officer at Neobank has not yet been determined.
According to N26, the separation was amicable. According to the statement, Kemper wants to focus on his professorship at RTWH Aachen, his supervisory board activities and his own companies. He founded the sportswear brand Ryzon, the "Kemper Hof," a seminar farm near Berlin, and Greenair, a trading platform for CO2 certificates.
Kemper joined N26 as chief financial officer in July 2021. "Jan has been instrumental in further strengthening N26's structures and governance," said N26 Supervisory Board Chairman Marcus W. Mosen. "We are very grateful to Jan for his contribution to the company's development and wish him all the best for his professional and private future."
