Hyrd receives 1.1 million euros in seed financing round

The Frankfurt-based start-up connects young professionals with companies. Hyrd also won over the state of Hesse with its career network.
The recruiting start-up Hyrd has raised 1.1 million euros. Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen and several business angels participated in the seed financing round. These include Creditshelf co-founder Christoph Maichel and HR tech investor Andreas Burike.
Dennis Pfaff and Benjamin Weller founded Hyrd in 2019. The start-up is based in the TechQuartier in Frankfurt. Hyrd intends to use the new financial resources to grow and further develop its platform of the same name. The career network allows students and young professionals to network with each other and with companies. The start-up wants to help them save time in their search for suitable jobs and receive quick feedback on their application.
Companies should be able to find and recruit suitable applicants on the portal with the help of AI. "Hiring and recruiting processes are still clearly separate individual events in many companies. Instead, we see recruiting as an ongoing process in which we support employers with hyrd to continuously build up a pool of suitable candidates," says Hyrd co-founder Benjamin Weller.
