Ingarden lands one million US dollars

According to a media report, the start-up for indoor gardens was supported by several business angels as part of an investment round.
Several investors have invested in the Berlin-based start-up Ingarden, according to a German startups reported. A total of one million US dollars was raised.
The D2C startup was founded by Natalie Paterson, Christian Saitner and Yenal Ersen. It sells fully automated indoor gardens where superfood plants are supposed to thrive in the home. Gardening is even supposed to be possible year-round.
"Efficient lighting and optimal watering, together with our high-quality organic seeds, contribute to a one hundred percent guarantee of growth and delicious taste," is what the company says about the product. The integrated light increases the number of vitamins and antioxidants and promotes healthy microgreen growth. A set, which also includes seven pads with seeds, costs just under 100 euros.
