Junto raises five million euros

The money came from Earlybird and Picus Capital, among others. Now the founders want to hire new staff.
Berlin-based edtech Junto has received a further five million euros from Earlybird, Picus Capital, Emerge Capital and ten other investors just three months after its last financing round. Junto plans to use the funding to finance staff expansion and further development of its proprietary software and course offerings.
"The now completed financing round brings us a big step closer to this vision: in addition to the network of our total of more than 50 angel investors, the capital and experience of Earlybird, Picus Capital and Emerge Education will now enable us to further accelerate the implementation of our strategy," says co-founder Johannes Schnell-Kretschmer.
Schnell-Kretschmer founded Junto together with Marius Hepp and Feliks Eyser. The team had already founded and sold software companies in the past.
