Klaeny takes over Levy & Frey

Founder Jo-Maren Witte is thus leaving her start-up. The two companies are not communicating the purchase price.
The start-up for sustainable household products Klaeny has acquired Levy & Frey. The purchase agreement had already been signed in early September, the sustainable shampoo manufacturer Levy & Frey announced on Linkedin announced. The two companies are keeping quiet about the purchase price.
With the sale, founder Jo-Maren Witte exits her start-up. Levy & Frey's products can now be found as a separate product line in Klaeny's online store. The store of the purchased start-up is nevertheless to remain. In the future, the shower products could also be sold together with Klaeny's products in drugstores such as Galeria Kaufhof.
Actually, Levy & Frey had planned a new financing round, founder Jo-Maren Witte told the Gründerszene. However, the possibility of an exit had also been considered in parallel. The two companies had already been in contact for some time and exchanged ideas on marketing, for example.
