Leverest closes seven-figure financing round

The start-up from Frankfurt am Main has developed a platform for financing. The idea also convinced the investment company of the state of Hesse.

Leverest received a seven-figure sum in a seed financing round. The Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen (BMH) and several business angels invested.

The start-up, founded in 2020 by Jan-Moritz Hohn, has developed a financing platform. There, investors such as private equity funds, industrial holding companies and family offices can plan and finance corporate acquisitions and investments. Lenders such as banks and private debt funds as well as intermediaries such as lawyers can also use the digital debt platform. With the capital from the financing round, Leverest now wants to further develop the platform technologically, introduce new functions and expand its sales structures.

"With Leverest, we want to drastically reduce the enormously high effort involved in organizing and processing complex financial transactions for all parties involved and, in doing so, set new standards in the field of structured financing and its digitalization, also internationally," says Leverest founder and CEO Jan-Moritz Hohn. Before Hohn founded his start-up, he worked as an investment professional at Avedon Capital Partners, where he planned financings. This is where he came up with his idea for a platform that facilitates the process from bid selection to closing a financing deal.
