Lieferando and Getir cooperate across Europe

Starting next week, the two delivery services will work together. Getir provides the drivers, Lieferando the marketplace.

The two delivery companies Lieferando and Getir will be working together across Europe from next week. Turkish food delivery company Getir will be able to place its entire product range on the Lieferando marketplace. In return, Lieferando will be able to use the new partner's drivers in the future. Getir's typical delivery times and prices will apply.

In Germany, this is possible in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Cologne. By December, the offer should also be available in other cities, according to the company. In the coming weeks, the companies want to open up other markets. In a statement, the delivery services name the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Italy as targets.

Lieferando was founded in 2009 and acquired by Just Eat Takeaway in 2014. Since then, the company has become one of the largest online marketplaces for meal delivery. Getir, on the other hand, was founded in Turkey in 2015 and has also been active in Germany since 2021. For their Regional General Manager Turancan Salur, the collaboration is a win-win situation. "Just Eat Takeaway customers can choose from a wider range of products," he says. "At the same time, Getir will benefit from significantly increasing order numbers and continue to grow throughout Europe."
