Log-hub and Pledge sign cooperation agreement

With the partnership, the Swiss technology company aims to make emissions in its customers' supply chains transparent.
The Swiss supply chain technology company has entered into a partnership with Pledge. The two companies made the announcement at the German Logistics Congress in Berlin. Pledge is a platform that offers various tools designed to make emissions in supply chains more transparent or offset them.
"We want to make an active contribution to climate protection efforts within the logistics industry and support our customers on their way to becoming 'Net Zero Heroes,'" says Log-hub CEO Dirk Hanschur. The start-up was founded in 2017.
Through the partnership between Log-hub and Pledge, Log-hub's more than 13,000 customers, including DHL, Henkel, Unilever and Coca-Cola, among others, will now be able to calculate their carbon footprint from the entire supply chain and identify the largest sources of emissions.
Log-hub will enable its customers to make offset transactions through Pledge's marketplace. They will have access to verified emissions reduction projects and technologies. "Together, we can accelerate the decarbonization of supply chains," says Gerald Chifamba, Head of Business Development at Pledge.
