Mobile Healthcare Solutions receives 1.3 million euros

The start-up has developed an app that allows users to analyze their urine. The company has now closed a financing round.
The Hamburg-based start-up Mobile Healthcare Solutions has received funding of 1.3 million euros, as reported by the Handelsblatt reports. The Frankfurt fund TA Ventures led the pre-seed financing round.
With the "Casc" app developed by the company, users can simply take a photo of a urine test strip. To do this, customers have to place the strip on the black area of a color chart. The software should then spit out the customer's health values within a few seconds. The app should also give users recommendations, for example explaining which values are too high or too low and providing nutritional tips. A graph compares the results of different tests over time. Mobile Healthcare Solutions was founded by Raphael Wichmann, Tobias Schütz and Lennart Hahn. It was launched in 2020.
