New AI award for start-ups
The competition is aimed at young companies that want to expand to Asia or the USA. The application deadline is October 3, 2022.
German Entrepreneurship GmbH is launching a new AI award. The "AI Beyond Borders Award" is to be presented to start-ups from the AI sector that want to expand into Asia or North America. Start-ups from this sector often encounter additional hurdles when expanding abroad, such as data protection regulations or a lack of social acceptance of the technology. The closing date for the award is October 3, 2022, and the winners will be presented at the European AI Summit in Munich on October 27, 2022.
The three winners of the competition will receive cash prizes of 50,000 euros. In addition, the start-ups will be supported by mentors in their expansion to Singapore, Southeast Asia or North America. The competition is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. Other supporters include AI + Munich, Berlin Partner, Intel Ignite, Startup Network Europe and Transatlantic AI Exchange.
