New AI award for start-ups

The competition is aimed at young companies looking to expand to Asia or the USA. The application deadline is October 3, 2022.
German Entrepreneurship GmbH is launching a new AI award. The "AI Beyond Borders Award" is to be given to startups from the AI sector that want to expand to Asia or North America. Startups from this sector would often face additional hurdles when expanding abroad, such as data protection regulations or a lack of social acceptance of the technology. The deadline for the award is October 3, 2022, and the winners will be presented at the European AI Summit in Munich on October 27, 2022.
The three winners of the competition will receive cash prizes of 50,000 euros. In addition, the startups will be supported by mentors to expand to Singapore, Southeast Asia or North America. The competition is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. Other supporters include AI + Munich, Berlin Partner, Intel Ignite, Startup Network Europe and Transatlantic AI Exchange.
