New venture studio in Berlin

A tech incubator from German Telekom sets up Founders Factory with global company builder.
Hubraum, Deutsche Telekom's tech incubator, is making common cause with global company builder Founders Factory. They are founding a venture studio in Berlin. Young founders will be able to work on their concepts here in the future, with financial and operational support from Founders Factory and network technology support from Deutsche Telekom.
The goal is a portfolio of innovative tech startups from across Europe, Telekom writes on onlinemarktplatz.de. In particular, they are looking for founders in the areas of commerce and advertising, data protection and digitalized telecommunications, and IoT in the enterprise.
For Hubraum, this is a strategic change. Until now, the tech incubator mainly invested in existing startups. Hubraum announced the new collaboration on its tenth anniversary. "We want to further digitalize the telecommunications sector," says head Axel Menneking. "Founders Factory, with its "venture" approach, offers an attractive new opportunity for our work with entrepreneurs." According to its own figures, Founders Factory has launched around 80 startups worldwide. Interested founders can apply now.
