New venture studio in Berlin

A Deutsche Telekom tech incubator joins forces with global company builder Founders Factory.
Hubraum, Deutsche Telekom's tech incubator, is joining forces with the globally active Founders Factory. They are founding a venture studio in Berlin. In future, young founders will be able to work on their concepts here, with financial and operational support from Founders Factory and network technology support from Deutsche Telekom.
The aim is to create a portfolio of innovative tech start-ups from all over Europe, Telekom writes on onlinemarktplatz.de. In particular, they are looking for founders in the areas of retail and advertising, data protection and digitalized telecommunications and IoT in companies.
This is a strategic change for Hubraum. Previously, the tech incubator mainly invested in existing start-ups. Hubraum announced the new collaboration to mark its tenth anniversary. "We want to further digitalize the telecommunications sector," says Head Axel Menneking. "With its venture approach, Founders Factory offers an attractive new opportunity for our work with entrepreneurs." According to its own figures, Founders Factory has launched around 80 start-ups worldwide. Interested founders can apply now.
