New era of document creation: Omnidocs acquires majority stake in Dania Software A/S backed by Main Capital Partners

Stockholm, April 30, 2024 - Danish company Omnidocs, backed by Main Capital Partners, has acquired a majority stake in Dania Software A/S, a Danish document creation provider with a global presence. This marks the first step in Omnidocs' buy-and-build strategy since the start of the partnership with Main Capital in January 2024.

Dania Software A/S and Omnidocs

Dania Software A/S, founded in 2015, is a Danish provider of document creation software. The company focuses primarily on solutions for template management, document access and electronic signatures for the Danish public sector as well as international customers across Europe. Dania Software currently serves approximately 200 customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the UK, including Accura Advokatpartnerskab, Dublin City Council and the Norwegian Government Security and Service Organization.

Omnidocs, founded in 2004 in Copenhagen, Denmark, primarily offers smart document creation software. Omnidocs and the buy-and-build strategy

The acquisition of Dania Software is Omnidocs' first step towards a buy-and-build strategy since the start of the partnership with Main Capital. Through this acquisition, the company plans to expand into new industries, broaden its offering to public sector clients and strengthen its position in the Danish market. With more than 1,100 customers served by local offices in Denmark, Norway and the US, the combined group will be well positioned to play a pivotal role in document creation software in Europe and the US.
