Parconomy and Digipark merge

Digipark continues as a brand, but the previous Parconomy boss takes over the company management. EnBW remains on board as a strategic investor.
The two Stuttgart-based park start-ups Digipark and Parconomy are merging. Effective immediately, both will continue to exist under the Digipark brand. The new managing director of the combined company will be Thomas Stebich, the co-founder and previous managing director of Parconomy. The company behind Parconomy, Enpulse Ventures, a subsidiary of the energy provider EnBW, will also remain on board as a strategic investor.
By joining forces with Parconomy, the company is now the leading provider of digital parking solutions in Germany, Digipark announced. The start-up offers parking operators various hardware and software solutions, including the ability to make the parking process - for example in a parking garage - completely contactless without a ticket.
"We are very much looking forward to growing together," says new CEO Stebich. "With digital parking, we not only want to reach operators, but above all win the hearts of drivers. It should be fun for them to use digital solutions like apps for parking. And the solutions should help make the streets free of parked cars at some point."
