Munich, 11.07.2024 - The technology startup trail has successfully closed a pre-seed financing round of 1.45 million euros. This round was led by CapitalT, with participation from NP-Hard Ventures, Mozilla Ventures, Common Magic and various business angels. The fresh funds are intended to accelerate product development, expand the team and strengthen trail's market position.

With the fresh capital, trail plans to drive forward product development, expand the team and strengthen its market position as the leading AI governance solution in Europe. The founders Anna Spitznagel, Nikolaus Pinger and Sven Hölzel met during their studies at the Technical University of Munich and the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). They experienced the bureaucratic challenges and lack of transparency in AI projects first-hand and decided to combine trust and efficiency to found trail.
