Procuros raises nine million US dollars

The start-up wants to connect suppliers and trading partners on one platform. The company has now received new funding.
The start-up Procuros raises nine million US dollars in its seed financing round. Early-stage investors Point Nine and Creandum are leading the round. Paua Ventures and the existing investor Btov are also participating. Business angels Denise Persson, David Clarke and Thijn Lamers are also investing in the start-up.
The founders of the start-up, Patrick Thelen and Benjamin Wulff, have developed software designed to simplify the exchange of data between retailers and their partners. All transaction-related data such as orders, delivery bills and invoices are to be exchanged via a single platform. The start-up, which was founded in 2021, says it has its first well-known customers such as Bosch, Flaschenpost and Ankerkraut.
"Digital B2B transactions are just the beginning and we see a great need for a simpler infrastructure in all industries and company sizes," says Wulff. Procuros intends to use the new capital to expand its technical and sales team and accelerate the platform's product development.
