The Regensburg-based SaaS company is thus the sixth company in the group.

The Prologistik Group takes over the Regensburg-based company TM3. The financial details of the deal are not known. The takeover is part of a mergers & acquisitions strategy through which Prologisitk intends to expand its market position, particularly in the DACH region. The group also wants to expand its portfolio in the direction of e-commerce and fulfillment.

TM3 was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the University of Regensburg and offers a software solution for warehouse logistics. Its target groups are in particular medium-sized retail companies, fulfillment providers and online retailers. Jörg Sänger is CEO of the Prologistik Group and sees TM3's solution as a sensible expansion of the Group's offering in order to provide its customers with the broadest possible digitalization of logistics.

"With TM3, we have a new, important partner at our side, with whom we are also further strengthening our expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, automation and e-commerce within the pL Group," says Sänger. The Regensburg-based start-up will remain an independent company. After Dataphone, IT Consult, Henrik Ernst, Logisoft-S and Xelog, TM3 is the sixth part of the Prologistik Group.
