Revoltech closes seed round

The leather alternatives start-up now wants to launch its product on the market in the near future.
The Darmstadt-based start-up Revoltech GmbH has completed its seed round with a seven-figure investment. The money comes from B.Value AG, BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH and HEAG.
The company was founded in 2021 by Lucas Fuhrmann, Julian Mushövel and Montgomery Wagner. The aim is to develop a sustainable leather alternative that is plastic-free and a plant-based alternative to leather made from hemp fibers. Revoltech markets these products under the name LOVR. The investment is intended to advance the development of the operating business: "The seed financing is a big step for LOVR. I am very pleased that we have found partners who share and support our vision of a sustainable circular economy," says CEO Lucas Fuhrmann. Co-founder and COO Montgomery Wagner is also delighted with the investment: "With this seed round, we are financing our market entry. The next two years will be all about taking the step from the lab to industry."
