Sciendis raises money

The start-up from Leipzig has raised a seven-figure sum from investors. Among others, Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen has invested.
The Leipzig-based start-up Sciendis, founded in 2019, has raised a seven-figure sum in a financing round. Investors included TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and Adesso Ventures. The start-up is known for its healthcare solution Wundera.
Wundera is a digital solution for the management and documentation of wound care. If nursing staff have to treat chronic wounds, the tool developed by the two founders Michael Aleithe and Philipp Skowron is designed to help them. According to their own information, nursing services as well as inpatient providers and medical supply stores are already using the solution. They are now raising further capital. TGFS is investing for the second time. Sciendis was already able to convince the Saxons in a pre-seed financing round.
"We have achieved a lot since the last financing round in 2021. We have developed technologically and were able to open up new customer segments,'' says Michael Aleithe, founder of Sciendis. Sören Schuster, Managing Director of TGFS, says: "The founding team has proven itself over the past two years: Despite the Corona crisis and thus more difficult access to care facilities, customers and especially partners have been acquired."
