Seed funding for Tech11

High-Tech Gründerfonds is investing a seven-figure sum in the start-up Tech11. The Würzburg-based company operates a platform for insurance and claims management.
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) is investing a seven-figure sum in Tech11, an insurtech founded in 2018 by Pierre Dubosq and Matthias Reining in Würzburg.
"We were convinced by the combination of an impressive founding team with excellent market knowledge and a technically superior solution for a large market with a significant investment backlog," says Dominik Lohle from HTGF. And draws a big comparison: "Tech11 will change the market for core insurance software, like vendors like mambu did for core banking."
Tech11 opened another office in Cologne last year and plans to open more locations to hire new employees as well. The startup's clients today already include companies such as Ergo. Tech11 has developed an end-to-end platform for contract and claims management. "The process-driven architecture allows our customers a flexible product and process design as well as a comfortable integration into their existing IT landscape," founder and CEO Matthias Reining explains his product.
