High-Tech Gründerfonds and 468 Capital invest in the Saarbrücken-based start-up.

Analyzing long and highly complex documents quickly and easily: This is what the deep-tech start-up Natif.ai wants to offer its customers. Founded in Saarbrücken, the start-up is an official spin-off of the German Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).

Natif.ai has now raised a seven-figure sum in a recent financing round. The round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with venture capitalist 468 Capital also participating. The start-up intends to use the money to expand its Saarbrücken site and further develop its software. For example, a new function is to be added to further automate companies' inboxes.

Natif.ai has experienced founders: Christophe Hocquet and Johannes Korves were both Managing Directors of Brille24 until the sale, after which they worked for the listed company Essilor-Luxottica. "The experienced founding team in combination with a superior technology that delivers significantly better capture rates than all competing products convinced us," says Christian Arndt from HTG.
