Seven-figure sum for Natif.ai

High-Tech Gründerfonds and 468 Capital invest in the Saarbrücken-based start-up.
Analyze long and highly complicated documents quickly and easily: That's what deep-tech start-up Natif.ai wants to offer its customers. The start-up, founded in Saarbrücken, is an official spin-off of the German Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
In a recent round of financing, Natif.ai has now raised a seven-figure sum. The round was led by the High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), the venture capitalist 468 Capital also participated. With the money, the start-up wants to expand the Saarbrücken location, and also further develop its software. For example, a new function is to be added to automate the incoming mail of companies even more.
Natif.ai has experienced founders: Christophe Hocquet and Johannes Korves were both managing directors of Brille24 until the sale, after which they worked for the listed company Essilor-Luxottica. "The experienced founding team in combination with a superior technology that delivers significantly better capturing rates than any competing product convinced us," says Christian Arndt of HTG.
