Simpmatch raises 2.5 million euros

The start-up connects companies with job seekers. Now, among others, it was able to convince 10x Founders.
The recruiting start-up Simpmatch was able to raise 2.5 million euros in a financing round. Among others, 10x Founders, Bonsai Partners and various business angels, including Bottle Post founder Niklas Plath and Christopher Huesmann, invested. With the newly raised capital, the company wants above all to grow, expand in the DACH region and develop its own "Academy". This is a further training opportunity for drivers.
Richard Fischer, Steven Miller, Emanuel Wernitz and Michael König founded the start-up in 2021 and, according to their own information, already placed 10,000 job seekers in the first year. Under the brand "driverhero.de", the start-up brings companies and applicants together via a so-called "reverse recruiting" approach. This means that the employer applies to the employee and not the other way around, as was previously the case. The still young company has focused in particular on jobs in the delivery and logistics industry, where it says it works with Knuspr, Instabox or Gorillas.
Chief executive Richard Fischer says: "We are very pleased to have found a strong and entrepreneurial partner in 10x Founders. We are also extremely happy about the support of Bonsai Partners, Niklas Plath and Christopher Huesmann - they are convinced of our venture and support us to grow further." Jan Reichelt of 10x Founders says of the investment, "We see tremendous growth potential in Simpmatch's approach, as the team thinks recruiting employee-first and builds a user-friendly product."
