Simpmatch raises 2.5 million euros

The start-up connects companies with job seekers. It has now been able to convince 10x Founders, among others.
The recruiting start-up Simpmatch has raised 2.5 million euros in a financing round. Investors included 10x Founders, Bonsai Partners and various business angels, including Flaschenpost founder Niklas Plath and Christopher Huesmann. The company intends to use the newly raised capital primarily to grow, expand in the DACH region and develop its own "Academy". This is a further training opportunity for drivers.
Richard Fischer, Steven Miller, Emanuel Wernitz and Michael König founded the start-up in 2021 and, according to their own information, already placed 10,000 job seekers in the first year. Under the "driverhero.de" brand, the start-up brings companies and applicants together using a so-called "reverse recruiting" approach. This means that the employer applies to the employee and not the other way around, as was previously the case. The still young company has focused in particular on jobs in the delivery and logistics sector and, according to its own information, works with Knuspr, Instabox and Gorillas.
CEO Richard Fischer says: "We are delighted to have found a strong and entrepreneurial partner in 10x Founders. We are also extremely pleased to have the support of Bonsai Partners, Niklas Plath and Christopher Huesmann - they are convinced of our plans and will help us to grow further." Jan Reichelt from 10x Founders comments on the investment: "We see enormous growth potential in Simpmatch's approach, as the team thinks about recruiting from the employee's perspective and builds a user-friendly product."
