Squadron receives funding

The Kickstart Incubator Program at Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences is providing up to 7,500 euros. Founder Mohammad Abu Rezeq has now received this sum for his idea for the intelligent monitoring of solar parks.
Mohammad Abu Rezeq is the first international student at Deggendorf Institute of Technology (THD) to win funding from the Kickstart Incubator Program. At 7,500 euros, this is the highest possible sum awarded by the program at Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
The start-up idea is called Squadron. In July of this year, Rezeq presented its concept to the jury of the Kickstart Incubator Program. The monitoring of solar parks should enable operators to quickly detect irregularities or errors and have them classified by artificial intelligence. The student has been advised by THD start-up consultants since July. The Jordanian is planning to set up his company in Germany and is currently applying for the popular EXIST start-up grant.
The DIT program supports students in the development of their idea through to the founding of a company by providing premises, funding and the knowledge of experts.
