Staffbase acquires majority stake in Dirico

The Staffbase Group is growing. The takeover will enable the start-up to further expand its platform for employee communication.

Yesterday, the Chemnitz-based start-up Staffbase expanded its portfolio with the Koblenz-based takeover of Dirico. By acquiring a majority stake, it intends to expand its platform for employee communication. In addition, over 150 new customers and 60 new employees will be added. The start-up's 2,000 customers include Union Investment, Birkenstock and Thyssenkrupp.

Companies can use the Dirico software to plan, create, publish and analyze the content they want to communicate. It is now to be gradually integrated into the Staffbase platform. However, Dirico will continue to be available as a standalone product.

CEO and co-founder of Staffbase, Martin Böhringer, emphasizes the future for the company and the upcoming collaboration: "Communication has never been so important for companies. By combining Dirico's planning solution with Staffbase's communication platform, we are creating a complete solution for communication teams that will enable companies to communicate consistently internally and externally on a new level".
