Staffbase acquires majority stake in Dirico

Staffbase Group is growing. Through the acquisition, the start-up wants to further expand its platform for employee communication.

Yesterday, the Chemnitz-based start-up Staffbase expanded its portfolio with the Koblenz-based takeover Dirico. Through the acquisition of the majority shares, it wants to expand its platform for employee communication. It also adds more than 150 new customers and 60 new employees. The start-up's total of around 2,000 customers include Union Investment, Birkenstock and Thyssenkrupp.

The Dirico software enables companies to plan, create, publish and analyze the content they want to communicate. It is now to be gradually integrated into the Staffbase platform. However, Dirico will still be available for purchase as a standalone product.

CEO and co-founder of Staffbase, Martin Böhringer, emphasizes the future for the company and the upcoming collaboration: "Communication has never been so important for companies. By combining Dirico's scheduling solution into Staffbase's communications platform, we are creating a complete solution for communications teams that will enable companies to communicate consistently at a new level internally and externally."
