Teleclinic founder Katharina Jünger steps down

She sold the portal in 2020. Now she is leaving her former company.
After the exit comes the farewell: the founder of Teleclinic, Katharina Jünger, sold her portal to the Swiss Zur Rose Group in summer 2020. The group operates mail-order pharmacies such as Docmorris and paid 43 million euros for Teleclinic. Jünger, who previously continued to work as CEO, is now leaving the company, as the news portal start-up scene reports.
The Zur Rose Group announced that Jünger is leaving the company at her own request "to take on new professional challenges after her parental leave". Together with Patrick Palacín and Reinhard Meier, she founded the company in 2015. The two co-founders left in 2019, Max Mülle took over their positions and became COO. He will now also take over Jünger's position.
Teleclinic's technology enables doctors to make remote diagnoses via video call. They can even issue sick notes and prescriptions. It took 20 months for Teleclinic to be fully integrated into its buyer's business. The founder accompanied the process. The portal has now been integrated into Docmorris. The market for video consultations was booming during the coronavirus pandemic.
