Textcortex receives $1.2 million in pre-seed funding

Textcortex's tool allows texts to be generated automatically with just a few commands. The start-up convinced renowned investors of its merits.
Textcortex has received $1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round. Btov Partners led the round, and Speedinvest and Entrepreneur First also invested in the AI startup. In addition, Wayve co-founder Amar Shah and Holger Hengstler participated as business angels.
The start-up by Ceyhun Derinbogaz and Dominik Lambersy has existed since last year and has developed an artificial intelligence that can create authentic texts based on a few key points. The machine-generated text can be optimized to create a lot of reach: for example, the AI can add keywords to blog articles with simple commands to make them easier to find via search engines. The tool is available for free in the Chrome Webstore. Users can apply it as a browser extension in emails, documents and e-commerce.
"New machine learning models can reach a level of creativity close to that of humans, so AI can accelerate the creative process," explains Textcortex co-founder Dominik Lambersy. The goal is productivity gains like those seen in industry. With the money from the financing round, Textcortex wants to expand its team and broaden its user base.
