Trade Republic offers more savings plans

For World Savings Day, Trade Republic has added new savings offers from Vanguard, Invesco and Vaneck. This now makes the start-up the largest provider of free ETF and equity savings plans in Europe.
Trade Republic has added 1,000 new ETFs to its offering for savers. New additions include savings plans from providers Vanguard, Invesco and Vaneck. According to its own information, Trade Republic is now the largest provider of ETF and equity savings plans in Europe. Customers of the start-up can also now invest money specifically in index funds on topics such as sustainability or big tech.
In addition, Trade Republic now makes it possible to have the money for savings plans automatically collected from the checking account via direct debit. "After the launch from trading fractional shares, this is another step to democratize wealth accumulation," says Trade Republic co-founder Christian Hecker.
In total, the provider's portfolio now includes nearly 2,400 ETFs and 2,500 equity savings plans. Christian Hecker, Thomas Pischke and Marco Cancellieri founded Trade Republic in 2015, and the startup's offering also includes equities, derivatives and cryptocurrencies. Trade Republic is now represented in 17 European countries.
