Upvest and Webull EU launch partnership for fractional investing in Europe

Upvest, a European investment infrastructure provider, today announces a strategic partnership with Webull Securities (Europe). Together they will provide European investors with access to European equities and ETFs on the Webull EU platform for the first time, including fractional trading from €1.
Fractional trading for a broader investor base
Until now, European customers have mainly used Webull to trade US and Asian equities. With the new cooperation, Webull EU is now expanding its offering to include European stocks and ETFs. The feature is being launched in the Netherlands and will be rolled out successively in other European markets over the coming months.
Fractional trading allows users to enter markets in a diversified manner, even with small amounts. This is an important step towards making investing accessible to a broader target group. However, it should not be forgotten that fractional trading is usually not covered by special assets, such as whole blocks of shares. It therefore represents an additional risk for investors. This may be manageable if you somehow hold 50% of a European ESG ETF for €10. Holding 50% of a Birshire Hataway or a Lindt in the same scenario would involve quite different sums.
Upvest provides infrastructure
At the heart of the cooperation is Upvest's investment API, which can shorten the time to market from years to just a few weeks. It provides a secure and scalable infrastructure that enables financial institutions such as Webull EU to quickly expand their product range.
Our mission is to make investing simple and empowering. With Webull EU, we are now bringing this promise to even more Europeans.

Webull drives expansion in Europe
Webull Group already has tens of millions of users in over 180 countries worldwide and offers them access to the financial markets five days a week, almost around the clock. With its move into Europe, the company is significantly expanding its offering.
"This partnership creates more autonomy for investors and opens up new opportunities, starting in the Netherlands," explains Andries van Luijk, CEO of Webull Securities (Europe)."Together with Upvest, we are laying the foundation for further growth and innovation in Europe."
