Uventions receives several million euros

The Hamburg-based start-up has focused on the topic of real-time hygiene. It has now successfully completed its latest round of financing.
With the help of UV light, Uventions wants to stop the multiplication of bacteria and also viruses inside rooms. With the technology and vision, the Hamburg-based company has now been able to inspire investors once again, who are investing an unspecified amount in the millions.
Invested in the concept of the so-called "digital real-time hygiene" has, among others, the vbw Beteiligungskapital GmbH, which gives priority to start-ups and medium-sized companies money. In addition, there is IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH, among others, which supports start-ups through the so-called Corona Recovery Fund. Behind this are the City of Hamburg and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Dörte Bunge, Managing Director of IFB-Innovationsstarter says: "With the Inno-Ramp-Up financing extended, we have laid the foundation for the successful market entry of Uventions GmbH and currently position the company promisingly for further market entry with the implementation of this financing round."
Three existing investors have also joined in. According to the company, investors Preventure, Raffeay & Cie and Thomas Ecker are increasing their holdings - much to the delight of Daniel Ehlers, CEO at Uventions. "We are very pleased that we have succeeded in convincing new investors, but also that already active shareholders are participating again in this round of financing," said the head of the start-up.
