viboo receives further growth capital

The Swiss AI startup viboo has received an additional investment from the Belgian Rise PropTech Fund. The capital follows the financing round of 3.3 million Swiss francs announced in October 2025 and further strengthens the company's expansion course.

Participants in the previous round(our Startbase report) included Realyze Ventures, Zürcher Kantonalbank and existing investors HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and Swisscom Ventures. With the entry of Rise PropTech, viboo is now expanding its international investor base.

European PropTech fund with a sector focus

Rise PropTech is a European venture capital company based in Belgium that specializes in PropTech and ConTech. In addition to capital, the fund also contributes in-depth industry knowledge and a network in the real estate industry and supports start-ups in particular with scaling and market access.

For viboo, the investment means not only financial support, but also strategic guidance for further market expansion in Europe.

Digitalization of the building stock as a core approach

viboo addresses a key obstacle to the heating transition: inefficient existing buildings. The company enables the digital control of heating systems through an IoT-based retrofit consisting of smart thermostats, room sensors and connectivity.

A key advantage of the approach is that existing heating and building systems can be integrated without having to reinstall a complete building management system. As a result, viboo reduces the cost and complexity of optimizing the energy efficiency of existing buildings.

International growth with a focus on Germany

With the additional capital from the Rise PropTech Fund, viboo intends to accelerate its international growth path. A particular focus is on the German market, which is seen as a key lever for further growth.

The aim is to drive forward the scaling of the solution and establish viboo as a relevant technology provider for energy-efficient buildings in the European market.
