Wohlfarth leaves Ratepay for good

From October, Miriam Wohlfarth will be leaving her start-up Ratepay to join the management of her second company Banxware.
Miriam Wohlfarth left her start-up Ratepay step by step, first withdrawing from the operational business and at the same time ensuring her succession. Wohlfarth left the company for good on October 1. At the end of 2020, Wohlfarth handed over some of her responsibilities to Nina Pütz, who has been CEO of the company since December last year. She will lead the start-up together with CFO Sabrina Flunkert and Managing Director Luise Linden.
"I am very proud of what we have achieved with Ratepay over the last 12 years. We are no longer a small start-up," says Wohlfarth on her departure. "What Ratepay needs now is strong leadership, and I couldn't think of anyone better than Nina and her new team." In addition to Pütz, Denny Morawiak from McKinsey as the new CCO and Steven Lemm, who is responsible for risk management, have also joined Ratepay in recent months.
Wohlfarth herself founded her second start-up Banxware in December 2020, where she is now joining the management team. It is not easy for her to say goodbye: "It is now time for me to let go of Ratepay and concentrate fully on Banxware," writes the founder on LinkedIn, thanking her colleagues at Ratepay. In addition to her duties as an entrepreneur, Wohlfahrt is also involved in Encourage Ventures, an investor network for female founders in the start-up scene
