As of October, Miriam Wohlfarth is out of her start-up Ratepay and will instead join the management of her second company Banxware.

Miriam Wohlfarth left her start-up Ratepay step by step, first withdrawing from the operational business and at the same time ensuring her succession. As of October 1, Wohlfarth will leave the company for good. Already at the end of 2020, Wohlfarth handed over part of her responsibilities to Nina Pütz, who has been CEO of the company since December last year. She will lead the startup together with CFO Sabrina Flunkert and Managing Director Luise Linden.

"I am very proud of what we have achieved with Ratepay in the last 12 years. We are no longer a small startup," Wohlfarth says of her departure. "What Ratepay needs now is strong leadership, and I couldn't think of anyone better than Nina and her new team to do that." Pütz was joined in recent months by Denny Morawiak of McKinsey as the new CCO and Steven Lemm, who is responsible for risk management.

Wohlfarth herself has already founded her second start-up Banxware in December 2020, where she is now joining the management. It's not easy for her to say goodbye: "For me, it's now time to let go of Ratepay and fully concentrate on Banxware," the founder writes on LinkedIn, thanking her colleagues at Ratepay. In addition to her duties as an entrepreneur, Wohlfahrt is also involved with Encourage Ventures, an investor network for female founders in the start-up scene
