Wolfgang Wolf remains chairman of the supervisory board of MBG Baden-Württemberg

Wolf and his deputy were elected for another four years. MBG invests more than 200 million euros in start-ups and medium-sized companies.

Wolfgang Wolf was re-elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg. Wolf has already held this position since 2003. He has now been elected for another four years. "MBG sees its mission as supporting small and medium-sized companies as well as start-ups with financing issues and looking for solutions," Wolf said in a statement. "It proved this once again just during the Corona crisis: For example, together with its sister institution, Bürgschaftsbank, it stood by the side of SMEs in the state as a reliable partner with its expanded range of programmes." Deputy Chairman Jürgen Kugler was also confirmed in office.

MBG currently provides a total of 235 million euros to around 800 Baden-Württemberg companies. MBG's shareholders are chambers, associations and the banking industry. The MBG mainly invests in the form of silent partnerships. In the case of start-up investments, MBG is often to be found alongside High-Tech Gründerfonds. Among other things, MBG is involved in Wiferion, a start-up for mobile, wireless energy supply for industrial e-vehicles.
