With Bayern Kapital as a new investor, WorkerHero wants to expand its AI technology and facilitate access to international specialists.

Munich, September 10, 2024 - The Munich-based recruiting technology startup WorkerHero has increased its Series A financing round by 600,000 euros to a total of 4.6 million euros. Bayern Kapital's investment underlines WorkerHero's position as a provider in the field of specialist recruitment. The company had already closed a Series A round of €4 million in July 2024, which was led by Mediahuis, a leading European media group, and existing investors 10x Founders and Bonsai Partners.

Expansion of AI functions and international search for specialists

WorkerHero was founded in 2021 by Richard Fischer, Steven Miller, Michael König and Emanuel Wernitz to counteract the increasing shortage of skilled workers. The platform uses AI-driven sourcing and matching to efficiently connect companies with qualified specialists. Currently, more than 70,000 users have created a profile on WorkerHero, including companies such as Telekom, Züblin and Segmüller, which successfully use the platform for their recruitment processes.

We are very pleased about the trust and support of Bayern Kapital. The additional investment will enable us to develop our technology even faster and expand our market presence.

Richard Fischer, CEO and co-founder of WorkerHero

With the new financing, WorkerHero plans to further expand the platform's AI infrastructure to make the search for skilled workers even more precise and effective. The capital will also be used to facilitate access to international skilled workers and thus counteract the shortage of skilled workers.

Expansion of market presence and team

WorkerHero plans to expand its reach into new industries and strengthen its team in all key areas. The ever-growing demand for specialized talent is a challenge that the company is addressing with a combination of modern technology and strategic investments. The fresh capital will help to further scale the platform and expand the client base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
