Vocabloot was founded in Munich with a mission to make vocabulary learning more personal, practical and connected to everyday life. Instead of relying on generic word lists, Vocabloot helps people learn words from the objects and experiences around them. Our long term vision is to make building vocabulary feel natural, relevant and enjoyable.

Vocabloot is a mobile vocabulary learning app that turns photos of everyday objects into personalized learning experiences. Users photograph something around them and receive its name in their chosen language, together with a translation, pronunciation and practical example sentence. Every word is saved to a personal wordbook and used in playful mini games that strengthen recall. Unlike traditional vocabulary apps, Vocabloot creates content from each user’s own surroundings.
