Actio's seed round is now worth ten million euros

Venture capitalist Heal Capital invests another 1.5 million euros - even though the start-up's app has only been available since December.
Following a successful financing round last fall with 8.5 million euros, Actio has now raised another 1.5 million euros from venture capitalist Heal Capital. This brings the seed round to the ten million mark.
"Actio's product is right in tune with the zeitgeist. We all start with good intentions and usually fail after just a few weeks," says Eckhardt Weber, Managing Partner and Managing Director of Heal Capital. With its approach, the start-up manages to establish healthy routines in everyday life. Actio wants to use the money to create new offers such as courses for pregnant women, nutrition workshops or seminars for people who want to stop smoking. The start-up also plans to expand into the USA by the end of the year.
Actio was founded in 2019 by Nikita Fahrenholz and Daniel Stahlkopf. Fahrenholz is an ex-Delivery Hero manager and is still involved in the company today, while also investing in various tech start-ups and selling luxury garages. Stahlkopf is a former product manager at Delivery Hero and was also a professional athlete for many years.
Actio has been offering courses in yoga, mediation and fitness, for example, via its app since December 2020. Unlike other apps, users receive a call shortly before their course and are reminded to attend the classes, which usually last 15 minutes. This should make it easier to integrate the offer into everyday life.
