Actio's seed round is now worth ten million euros

Venture capitalist Heal Capital is investing another 1.5 million euros - even though the start-up's developed app has only been available since December.

After a successful financing round last fall with 8.5 million euros, Actio now raised another 1.5 million euros from venture capitalist Heal Capital. With this, the seed round cracks the ten million mark.

"Actio hits exactly the zeitgeist with its product. We all start with good intentions and usually fail after a few weeks," says Eckhardt Weber, Managing Partner and Managing Director of Heal Capital. With its approach, the start-up succeeds in establishing healthy routines in everyday life. Actio plans to use the money to create new offerings such as courses for pregnant women, nutrition workshops or seminars for people who want to quit smoking. The startup also plans to expand to the U.S. by the end of the year.

Actio was founded in 2019 by Nikita Fahrenholz and Daniel Stahlkopf. Fahrenholz is an ex-Delivery Hero executive and still involved in the company today, while also investing in various tech startups and selling luxury garages. Stahlkopf is a former Delivery Hero product manager, and he was also a longtime professional athlete.

Actio has been offering courses in yoga, mediation or fitness, for example, through its app since December 2020. Unlike other apps, the user is called shortly before his course and reminded to participate in the usually 15-minute courses. This should make it easier to easily integrate the offer into everyday life.
