Viewing and automating expenses and budgets in real time and thus simplifying processes: This is the promise of the start-up Finway, which is based near Munich. Csaba Krümmer, Jennifer Dussileck and Philipp Rieger founded it in 2020 and have now received 2.1 million euros in a seed financing round, as Startbase learned in advance. Investors include venture capitalist btov Partners and business angels. The 10x Group, a group of entrepreneurs including IDNow founder Felix Haas, is also involved in the round. It had already invested in a previous round.

"I am very impressed with what the team has already achieved in such a short time and am convinced that Finway has what it takes to become the market leader," says Felix Haas. The start-up itself also has big plans: "We want to achieve a leading market position in Europe with finway in the coming years," says founder Dussileck about the round. The young company wants to invest the money in further product development and stronger customer loyalty.

Btov has been supporting the development of Finway for some time, so an investment is a logical next step: "Finway convinced us as a holistic solution in the area of expense management with a clear focus on product excellence," says Luca Martinelli, Partner at btov, and sees "enormous market potential" for Finway's offering.
