Even in the 21st century, contraception is still a topic that is not talked about enough. Leonie Fries thought so too and founded the start-up Myuterus, which aims to educate people about contraception and offers advice. The company is now offering 30-minute consultations by phone or video.

The start-up, based in Koblenz, works with consultants who are state-certified alternative practitioners with a focus on gynecology or who have experience in advising on hormones, the menstrual cycle and contraception.

"Every woman is different and has different contraceptive needs and requirements. We want to provide expert advice to help everyone find the right option," says Fries, describing the service. In the consultations, the individual situation is discussed, whether it's stopping the pill, alternatives to hormonal contraception or even information about the options.
