Care place manager collects millions
The start-up from Thuringia networks hospitals with care services and helps private individuals find care support. This has now convinced investors.
Pflegeplatzmanager has collected an amount of millions in an unknown amount in a financing round. Deutsche Balaton and Stefan Hoops from Deutsche Bank have newly invested in the start-up. Old shareholders such as Treuenburg Venture Partners have also invested again.
"With the acquired financial resources, we can meet the expectations of the market, especially with regard to digitalization and the requirements of the Hospital Futures Act. This brings us another step closer to our goal of providing sustainable positive support for the healthcare system in Germany - which also gives our customers great security," say the managing directors and founders Chris Schiller and Alexander Bauch.
Pflegeplatzmanager was founded in 2018 and is now active in Greiz, Jena (both Thuringia) and Lauf an der Pegnitz (Bavaria). The start-up has developed a platform that connects hospitals with aftercare providers such as nursing services or nursing homes. In the meantime, more than 500 acute and rehabilitation clinics across Germany are using the Pflegeplatzmanager. The company has also launched the besserfinden.de platform to help family caregivers find care support.
