Six million euros for Neuronation

Impact Partners invests in Synaptikon, the company behind the health app Neuronation. The start-up also wants to help long-Covid patients in the future.
The French venture capitalist Impact Partners is investing in the German healthtech Synaptikon. The investment amounts to six million euros, as the VC announced. This is Impact Partners' first financing in Germany.
Synaptikon is behind the Neuronation app, a service designed to help people train their cognitive skills. The app is available in nine languages and Synaptikon claims to have already reached 20 million users. For the original development, the start-up cooperated with the Free University of Berlin, and there are now further collaborations with various universities and clinics. Synaptikon is currently working with Charité Berlin, Cologne University Hospital and Jena University Hospital to test whether Neuronation is suitable for treating Long Covid patients.

are accelerating this development, and we want to play our part in solving it," says Jakob Futorjanski, who founded the company together with Rojahn Ahmadi in 2011. Synaptikon now wants to use the newly raised capital to strengthen the research behind its own product.
