Startup Myuterus launches online contraception advice service
Lisa Marie Münster | 24.02.2021Leonie Fries is the founder of Myuterus, which offers advice on individual contraception. Now the start-up from Koblenz has launched its offer.
Even in the 21st century, contraception is still a topic that is not talked about enough. Leonie Fries thought so, too, and founded the start-up Myuterus, which wants to educate people about contraception and offers consultations. As of now, the company offers 30-minute conversations by phone or video.
The start-up, based in Koblenz, Germany, works with counselors who are state-certified naturopaths with a focus on gynecology or who have experience counseling on hormones, menstrual cycles and contraception.
"Every woman is different and has different desires and requirements for her contraception. We want to support everyone in finding the right option through competent advice," Fries describes the offer. In the consultations, the individual situation is discussed, whether it is stopping the pill, alternatives to hormonal contraception or even information about the options.
